My recent stay at Fado Bed & Breakfast was a delightful experience that blended comfort and culinary innovation in Lisbon. As a wildlife conservationist, I often seek out accommodations that reflect authentic local culture, and this B&B certainly did just that. Upon arrival, I was impressed by the professionalism of the staff, particularly Cristina and Pradnya, who were attentive to every request. The clean, spacious double room provided ample storage for my travel gear, perfect after long days exploring the city. Each morning began with a thoughtfully prepared breakfast featuring an exquisite selection of ham and cheese, delightful breads, and freshly packed croissants. It was a simple yet flavorful meal that showcased Portuguese ingredients, evoking cherished memories of my travels in South Africa, where I found the same spirit of culinary care. The B&B's location, just 1.2 miles from the vibrant Mercado da Ribeira, allowed me to easily explore Lisbon, though the nearby tourist area sometimes offered unwelcome night noise. I would sit on the balcony, sipping a drink while enjoying the ambiance, despite the chairs not being the most comfortable. Fado Bed & Breakfast exceeded expectations in both service and dining. I look forward to my next visit.
